As a group we have been discussing the ending and I think we need to make it more dramatic as it currently ends rather abruptly. So, we have extended the shots of fireworks to a different set of fireworks and have these visuals match with the actual sound the fireworks were producing. This has meant we needed to fade the song out more and add cross dissolve transition to the clip so it is smooth but I think this works really well and adds another dimension to the video, allowing the audience to focus on the sense of achievement the narrative is aiming to portray.

We have decided to change the  flashing sign section in our music video where we match lyrics and visuals. This is because we showed the latest draft to a sample audience and some of their feedback suggested that it may be more effective to use instructive road signs more than name place signs. I thought this was a great idea and means we can make that section a faster pace (which emphasises the difference and slow pace in the boring job shown first in the video) as well as adding more colourful and drama.

Audience Research

Here is the questionnaire I asked our focus group to fill out after they had seen our final draft of our music video. This meant I could clearly see what individuals liked and didn't like and if we could then change anything in our video to improve it and appeal more to the audience. We tried to make the questions as concise and focused as possible so we get the most useful feedback.

Audience Research

Here is the final draft of our music video that we are going to show to a focus group so we can see if there are any elements that are strong or any points that are weaker that we should adjust to suit the audience more.
